Once Again Act Of Animal Abuse at Mount Tai, China In Less Than A Month

Animal abuse seems to be a reoccurring theme in the last few weeks from China. While the Western Hemisphere is outraged China proves to show little regard. It should be highly discouraged – and we must step up to stop someone when he or she abuses these poor creatures.

In Yangzhou, Jiangsu province, a man, thought to be in his early twenties, attacked a pair of nesting Black Swan early this month. That was the swans’ nesting ground as well is located in scenic spot of Mount Tai, east China's Shandong province.

It was then he started stomping his feet – on the swans’ nesting grounds. The man was laughing repeatedly as he did so. The man wasn’t alone – many others stood there watching him. No one stepped up to stop him. There were at least thirty others at the scene – and all they did was just to simply sit by and watch the cruel act. The heartbroken swan could do nothing expect honking the terror as this scene unfolded.

Li Yaming, the attraction’s manager, rebutted that the eggs are non-fertile – he deems this acceptable behaviour thus it is ok for them to be stepped upon. Last month this same place to raided by unknown person that stole eggs.
